Of all the kinds of vacations, Staycations are my absolute favorite. It’s only in such holidays that you get the much needed time to explore the property, relax, read, and truly unwind. I have been travelling since the beginning of this year and although every trip had it’s charms and moments, the trip to Tijara Fort Palace was one that stuck.
Managed by Neemrana Hotels, Tijara Fort Palace is a beautiful scenic property in Alwar, Rajasthan. I visited along with my lovely friend and an amazing blogger Pallavi from That Delhi Girl and had the most amazing time. Just a few hours drive took us to this grandeur and all my tiredness from my various trips melted away. We started the staycation with a relaxing spa session at the Orient Spa in Rani Mahal, which is where we were staying as well. Our room, Sheba Mahal, was the only room at the property with a beautiful balcony with a view that could make you sigh every time you step out. It had a complete view of the entire property along with the lush greens lands surrounding the property for as far as you could see. The heritage hotel gives you an entire experience of the bygone era but with all the modern amenities for your comfort.
Now, let’s come down to the topic we all love: Food! The food at Tijara was no less than epic. Every meal, from breakfast to coffee to dinner, was well curated and had a huge variety of traditional Indian cuisine supported with few continental options for the delicate palette as well. The restaurant was centrally located and also featured an outdoor sitting area which I think was perfect to enjoy evening teas in.
The three day trip passed with so much bliss and excellent food! And yes, dips in the pool! With beauty stretched every where you could look, this place makes for an ideal weekend getaway! I honestly cannot wait for my next visit to Tijara!!
You can probably tell from the pictures that we used our phones for just one purpose! I used to completely forget the outside world roaming at the property in my own reverie!
You can go check out their page at Neemrana Hotels to see the rates, availability, etc. Do visit for a weekend because I totally recommend it!
